Welcome to 100words.org!
100words.org is a new project that hopes to raise awareness about the many issues that plague communities in the most neglected corners of the world.
Children in these underprivileged communities are especially vulnerable. By publishing their personal narratives, we hope to build a personal connection with the reader.
We are currently building a direct donation processing tool to allow donors to contribute directly to the nonprofits we feature through our platform.
100words.org is an “open-source” work-in-progress. We welcome suggestions or introductions to notable nonprofit organizations that share our dedication to improving the lives of neglected children. We spend great time understanding the philanthropic mission, history, and management of the organizations we choose to profile.
Each colored hand on the world map represents the imprint of a child in that given part of the world. It is our hope to fill the map with colors.
With the exception of a couple featured profiles, the NGOs featured on 100words.org are U.S. registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations, and donations to them are tax deductible.
100words.org is sustainable thanks to the contributions of our sponsors and friends. Donations are used to cover the costs of web design, development, hosting, and maintenance. Donations to 100words.org are fully tax deductible.
We also welcome new additions to our team. Please reach out!
Thank you for your support for our cause, and we look forward to hearing from you!
